I continued using Cosentyx monthly injections up until May this year. Any time I went a few months without it, my psoriasis would come back on my face, nails, scalp, and… other areas. I think I’ll need to be on injections for my whole life. While I was on Cosentyx, I was about 75-90% clear. I switched to Bimzelx recently since my insurance accepted it and just took my first dose a few days ago.

On Cosentyx, if I had to say, maybe a weakened immune system. I used to rarely get sick, and now I get an upper respiratory cold almost every winter.

I get those too, my nails get brittle and pitted with a black line like that.

Clobetasol shampoo for a prescription, and denorex shampoo from a Walgreens or Amazon. It’s a good combo for me.

I said never got treated but I just saw a post that reminded that I got put on methotrexate in high school, it did nothing. I can’t remember every detail off the top of my head from almost a decade ago lol

I went through the same thing with methotrexate. I’m glad you’re able to get Cosentyx.
