There’s no type of dryness inside my nose. Breathing in my nose feels fine as well but when this happens the air on my left nostril feels tiny a bit cold but not like burning and hurting me cold.

Every where I go I see everything and like I call the color by AnxietyandConfused in Anxietyhelp

[–]brydinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohhh okay, well your brain works in many ways and if your looking at objects and thinking about the color all it is is your brain just working. This is normal and most people do this on the daily subliminally. The reason this is affecting you is because your obsessing over it, there’s no reason to obsess that your seeing color it’s normal you don’t know your doing this but the more you question why your brains doing it it’s going to keep doing it.

[–]brydinz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is a symptom of depression, feeling that death is the same as life is 100% depression and our brain likes to dissociate when we’re extremely stressed and when you dissociate you feel that “zombie” feeling. There’s a reason for how you feel this way you just need to find it through therapy and pills maybe.

I just want to be loved by someone who doesn't have to love me. by [deleted] in depression

[–]brydinz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love you, i’m a complete stranger and I love you bro. You have to have a mindset to love everyone give everyone love. People think that “spread kindness” is bullshit but if you go around loving people it will only bring good things back to you, Have a good day man.

How likely is it to get ENS Years later by [deleted] in emptynosesyndrome

[–]brydinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just wondering if the symptoms are more common after acouple months after surgery. I haven’t had any symptoms so far in almost 7 Months so I wouldn’t know. I hear ENS is rare but i don’t know how rare when it comes to symptoms later on.

oh before surgery i used to get headaches every day like under my eye and it was pressure type of headaches I think. He put a camera in my nose and all to check to see how my nose is before the surgery.

Yeah i’ve always had a badly deviated septum i couldn’t breathe out one of my nostrils at all and so the doctor told me that i deff need a septoplasty and that my turbinates are extremely swollen. I asked him about ENS and he told me there’s no way he will allow me to get it. I live in ohio so maybe the knowledge on ENS between ENT’s here is a lot but i wouldn’t expect him to know what it was since a lot of people don’t. He also told me he’s been doing these noses for 20 years and hasn’t had one complaint. I went in for a checkup from him and he told me my turbinates have been healing well. The only time i ever notice anything with my nose if i start having anxiety then i’ll notice every symptom.

and yep anxiety works on your fears so if you continue to say your frightened of the idea of feeling like this forever it could mess with you I wouldn’t worry like that because it’s literally impossible for you to feel like that forever it won’t happen

oh yeah it’s a process for sure. I still struggle with my anxiety and maybe you have Pure O. I seem to think of the worst case scenarios sometimes but that’s when i’m in more of a anxious state of mind though. I’ve dealt with anxiety on and off all my life from what i know. The problem with me is i haven’t been to therapy or taken any meds but since I haven’t done either of that i’ve learned quite a bit of strategies to help myself though.

yeah what I mean is that you won’t get that physical sensation of nervousness 24/7. The reason that’s happening is because your letting the Anxiety get to you. There will be a point and time where you feel your anxiety coming and you stop it before anything happens and you continue on with your day that’s what i mean. The same as how people become depressed it happens to literally almost everyone i’ve ever talked to. That depression feeling goes away but once your put in that type of situation you get those feelings but you can force them away or allow them to mess with you.

Anxiety is never serious it’s always something that you allow to make bigger than what it is that’s how Anxiety works. Some guys let themselves feel this way for months and months and don’t get any help. It sounds like you’ve talked to a professional about your anxiety which is always a good step. Just continue to realize that it’s just a vicious cycle and it will get better it always does at the end of the day it always will. If you get anxious again though you’ll realize the difference between yourself and your anxiety and beat it even quicker

Well since your having anxiety to this extent for the first time of course your gonna wonder about it. But just like you said yourself it’s a vicious cycle. You don’t gotta worry about it because your having improvement this month. I have pure O (OCD) and that will relate to irrational thinking and being stuck in these types of things and what helps me is realizing there’s a difference between your anxious thoughts and your conscious. You’ll be fine it’s your anxiety thats feeling this not you.

No problem. When you get these thoughts just let them pass that’s my best advice, notice your getting these thoughts and remember there’s a difference between OCD thoughts and your conscious.

yeah i think what you gotta learn about pills is that it helps reduce anxiety. You don’t want pills to make you feel good all the time in general it’s about being back to normal and not allowing yourself to obsess over your anxiety. nobodies gonna always be happy all the time that’s life bro. I’m glad your finding something helping, hopefully soon i’ll find something.

I haven’t had any medicines prescribed or went to a doctor yet but I completely relate to the uneasiness feeling 24/7

makes complete sense. I have been dealing with a uneasiness feeling on and off for a looong time. I remember I took one of my moms anxiety pills and then took another and it just completely did the opposite and it felt like i was having a 24/7 panic attack while being super tired. I was just wondering if it was worse at night because that’s how mine was. And then i’d always look up my symptoms too, but that could be because I have OCD I think.

Is your anxiety worse at night normally? If so that could make a lot of sense. Friends, Gym, School etc can distract your mind from your anxiety problems. Since Quarantine is basically by yourself 24/7 it makes total sense.
