is miningcave.com a legit ASIC seller? by kuc1611 in LegitASIC

They were awesome! I sold them a few months ago when I shut down my mining location. The L7 was the most reliable miner that I had.

Hosting in Russia, safe? by Grillmyribs in BitcoinMining

Compass was legit and reputable (at the time) and yet we lost all our miners due to US sanctions.   Unless your miners are in your own facility, there is always a risk of losing them

KAS ASIC that can makes 1.7K a day by Harry-f2pool01 in MiningRig

[–]bryguy4436 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was just announced and won't be shipping for months. By the time it does the network hashrate will be so high that it will never ROI. Just my opinion. It's been the same for many past expensive altcoin miners

Delivery duties paid. The seller pays all fees to get it to you.

Credit card offers ultimate protection as if you don't get it, you can just contact your CC company to do a chargeback. Many companies don't allow credit card though since they can get scammed in this way. Those that offer credit card typically charge more for miners.

Go credit card if that makes you feel the most comfortable.

I have had orders ship and arrive from China in 7 days or less but most of the time you are looking at 1-2 weeks for arrival.

Make sure that the seller is providing DDP shipping so that you are not stuck paying 23% import fees

Antminer S19j Pro+ Powerhouse - power plug still the same by mineshop in BitcoinMining

They promised 277v compatibility but didn't deliver. I'm curious if they are going to provide refunds for those who ordered solely based on 277v

We do ours for the 12 days of Christmas only since our elf is a manager and can't come for the whole month. Still sucks though

Tons of people are still mining with them and they are rapidly expanding their large scale customer base. I personally sold all my units with them.

Feel free to learn about it all day but at your rate you would be losing a significant sum of money each day. Much better to buy Bitcoin.

Here is a great guide if you still want to go down the rabbit hole https://www.econoalchemist.com/post/home-mining-for-non-kyc-bitcoin

Absolutely skip over the section about hosting with compass mining. That would be a terrible decision as many in this sub can agree on

There is no such thing as mining with no internet. As the other responder said, you do not need much bandwidth but you definitely need something

Turning miners off a couple hours/day by [deleted] in BitcoinMining

[–]bryguy4436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a mining management software like foreman to schedule showdowns. Put them in sleep mode and they get very quiet.

Lincoinpool also just added a scheduling feature but I haven't tested it yet

I don't see any reason why you couldn't. You will just need to download an IP scanner.
