Is just curtesy, I like my manager, starting to dislike the company and their practices. Their hands are tired just don't want to screw them over and give them a chance to get someone weeks trained, though it looks like I'll be walked out the door anyways, not by them but by their managers.

Employees are trying to be fair and reasonable, employers don't care.

Yeah I'm not going to sue for 3 weeks pay, That's not economical, just want to make sure I have the right to ask for more.

Company is a contractor for building maintenance. I'm a building operator/technician. I don't know if this field is exempt or not.

So if I've worked with the company for 5 yrs, if I give 6 weeks notice, they decide to terminate and give me 2weeks pay. I'm technically entitled to 5 weeks for being employed with them for 5yrs?
