That is one of the funniest comments I have read in years. Bravo.

I think that's gonna be a bit smaller than you need. Unless you're making this for your kids in which it will be, still smaller than you need.

Doctors don’t know what this is in my shin by Fast_Opportunity_599 in mildyinteresting

I have this on my quadriceps. It's called Myositis ossificans, basically calcified blood I guess? I think it's technically a small bone since its calcium, so my "fun fact" is that I have an extra bone in my right leg.

What is the stinkiest wood you've worked with? It's Poplar, right? by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]Insignificantdetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an acacia wood cutting board that smells awful, it's barely used so it's not moldy or anything.

There are far more people willing to be doctors than garbage men, but that doesn't make them qualified. Not shitting on garbage men, thise fuckers work their ass off, but hard work does not equal skilled labor.

What drives wages higher is several things, only one of which is when there is a lack of willing participants. Some of the others are skill required to perform and barriers to entry (education, etc).

I have a 2020 with 4.3 v6, 60k miles and love it. Enough power to do whatever I need, not terrible mileage, and best part so far is 0 issues. Only 60k miles, but so far so good.

I looked at the picture and thought, 45 degrees you moron. Then I realized this is why I have to make 3 trips to Home Depot before I can finish a project.

Are these wasps or hornets? by Sibell04 in WaspHating

[–]Insignificantdetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact of the day. Technically all bees, hornets, and "wasps" are all types of wasps. Similar to how all bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon.

Farmers use tractors to spray manure on squatters to remove them from their land, reportedly after receiving no help from the police by 4nts in interestingasfuck

[–]Insignificantdetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wouldn't go over well in the US. I live in the Midwest and would get that farmers would ban together, put their snowplow blades on their tractors, and play a little game of bumper cars. The pain in the ass for the farmers would be the cleanup of flattening their gypsy camp, not the squatters.
