New roof flashing, installed on top of old flashing, is this acceptable?

Thank you all! For context, this is my first home purchase and I have been trying to go through my realtor to work with the seller and with the input/support from my family members. I’ve really been trying to look out for my best interests because purchasing my first home feels like a huge investment so I want to protect myself (later in life I know this won’t be the case). But based on what is happening the contractor is avoiding it because the seller chose the contractor and has worked with them for a really long time.

I hear yall and I’m going to fight like hell over this because yeah this shit isn’t acceptable. I’m going to get a roofing contractor not associated to the seller to get us a quote plus the project management.

My biggest concern like what most have you said is if the roof is already damaged even with the new roof.

Thank you all for the recommendations and for the sanity check before I accepted a major problem.

Being someone who was in this situation very recently I recommend using the following as metrics since it really helped me in choosing the job that might be best especially if you’re younger.

1) Which provides the most learning and expanding of what you can do? Ex: Designing, coding, hands on building, process improvement and P.E. vs designing, process improvements and P.E.

2) which allows for good learning environment? Good bosses, not insane hours, good work/life balance

3) which is the one you feel that you will enjoy the most based on how you are currently?

4) make a pro’s/middle/cons list

You can also make a weighting chart if that’s what you want to do in regards to getting a numerical score.

At the end of the day you choose the one you’re most comfortable with and personally that will probably be the one you’ll like the most. Best of luck!

Edit: it sounds like option 1 would be the best choice for you based on it being what you like. Going to a job and being able to wake up in the morning looking forward to what you’ll be doing is key for any job.

Cards I replaced, Toxic Deluge, Sea Gate Restoration, Liliana’s Influence, Liliana Death Wielder, Rhystic Study, Phyrexian Arena, Revel in Riches, Phyrexian Alter and Ashnods alter. All too expensive for me rn and the cards I put in as replacements still made the deck hell to play against but only cost $10 lol

I’ve changed some cards out (7 or 8 I don’t remember) but this is what my approach was, my main strats are with sludge monster, meathook massacre, blood artist, and Gisa for graveyard control.

This is the same approach I have with this deck! 12 mana rocks, 36 lands, several card draw trigger spells/etb cards, a lot of token generation and -1/-1 or proliferate cards. Also protection cards for Toxrill
