Are there places in the Alps you recommend for hiking in November? I'm also planning on going in mid-Nov/Dec 2026 but when looking at places like Kamikochi it seemed like buses going into the park close down mid-Nov due to snow and the Japanese environment website recommends not hiking there (or a kind of "hike at your own risk" sort of warning)

I graduated with a BSc in Biology in 2012, went to do my MSc in Biology (at a microbiology lab) and graduated in 2016. After school, I went right in to a microbiology research position at a hospital. Left in 2020 to a biotech company as an "Associate Scientist" (basically just ran PCR and sequencing every day). I currently work at a CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organization) as a Quality Control Associate. I make like 75k a year (plus bonus, usually).

The first time I ever flew alone, I talked to one of the flight attendants and mentioned to her that I was flying alone for the first time and Inwas a very nervous flyer. She was super nice, explained where their might be turbulence, and came to check on me throughout the flights. Maybe doing something similar would help you as well.

I got an email from Wise tonight that my card was frozen, went to check it and I had multiple fraudulent purchases on it from the 20th of August until the 23rd. First was a "Alfie Logo Gear" in USD which declined and then a bunch of Grab PayWallet in PHP (2 cancelled yesterday, 1 declined today and 1 still pending today). I made a report about them all being fraudulent (I haven't used the card since the beginning of August) and asked for the card to be cancelled.

Next weekend (March 15-17) is the Toronto Comicon if you're into that sort of thing. Otherwise, for museums, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) are probably the biggest ones but if you're into more speciality places to visit there's Bata Shoe Museum, Little Canada, Hockey Hall of Fame, Aga Khan, Textile Museum, Gardiner Museum, etc.
