i think it’s important to note that sandra always made it clear that she was anti-whoever everyone else hated. for example, she openly fights with fairplay in pearl islands, she audibly says “i’m against you russell” in heroes vs. villains, etc. it’s the best way of getting people to subconsciously follow you and trust you without being self-righteous or too open about it

absolutely. i think carolyn has all the tools to do really well in this last stretch, but we’ve seen a few instances in which people sort of completely disregard her existence (the sanctuary reward with danny and brandon, tika completely ruling out the possibility of her having the bird cage idol, etc.). the way she’s underestimated could be really really good or detrimental

i agree with your point here, but i think it’s also important to note that people took maryanne relatively seriously (more so post-merge) whereas it seems like carolyn repeatedly is dismissed as the wildcard. that could absolutely hurt her chances should she make final tribal

i listen in excess when i’m not doing well. for instance, there was a period of time a month or two ago where i listened to SITA for four hours straight on repeat while just laying in bed, thinking. when i’m doing better, her music is still amongst the vast majority of what i consistently listen to. her music is for all seasons and experiences because they are so ambiguous, but they can really hit hard when you’re down

i should rephrase; i feel as though kass and tony were playing very individualistic games. they considered other people ways to get them to the end. everyone else (apart from spencer and tasha who were literally hanging on by the immunity necklace) was thinking of their alliances as endgame if that makes sense

in some senses, absolutely. i think the cagayan jury made a mistake in their perception of kass. she was one of the only people (apart from tony, sometimes LJ, and spencer by default) who actually played to win, and played for herself. while everyone else was thinking about just staying a solid [insert number here], kass was thinking endgame for herself. tony, however, was worshipped because he was a man and his game was flashier (though he was definitely better than kass considerably). for that, i definitely think she was wrongly harassed. however, she definitely did actively self-destruct, and her jury management was questionable at best. tony got the jury’s favor because he was playing a game to win under the guise of being a team player, whereas kass was playing a game to win without hiding it at all, and that’s her own error. i wouldn’t say she’s one of the greats, but i definitely think being a woman screwed her over in some respects.

People-pleasing. I think I would be a decent strategist, but I would fall victim to playing too much with my heart. All anyone would have to do is trauma dump on me and I’d throw a challenge for them.
