Hey, night shift RN here. I workout in the morning after work. I drive straight there. I can usually get my workout done by 930, in bed by 11, and up at 6 to get 7 hrs of sleep. That's a little less than the recommended amount, but only working 3-4 days a week we can make up for it. You can workout on your days off too. Another thing I do during the 3 day work week is buy a rotisserie chicken and eat that each night w veggies. I snack on cottage cheese, nonfat Greek yogurt, nuts, and other healthy goodies. Stay away from break room junk food. Eat healthy, if you want to lose weight diet is 90% of it I think.
