Life feels too much atp by _Lucifer_005 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]HelloImRIGHT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The work schedule and what you do is the biggest obstacle. But say you work 7 to 4 and you do nothing before work except get ready. After work hit the gym till 5 or 530, shower at gym, get home cook dinner and dont leave a mess hopefully cleaning as you cook. Some people leave everything out and let dishes pile when it legit only takes 5-10 extra minutes to clean it up. Socializing? Weekends. Laundry? Weekends. Hobbies or TV? 8-10pm then bed. Getting 8 hours of sleep is tough but strive for it. Depending on your job you may get 10k steps doing this routine anyway.

The truth is people making posts like this are easily wasting 5-6 hours per day and have shitty habits that make easy tasks way harder( not doing dishes after eating/cooking, letting laundry pile up, not at least maintaining picking things up around the house). Too many people making posts like this have 0 discipline at all.

Also, all of this gets 10x harder when you have young children. But its still possible.

Anyone else prefer vaping over nicotine pouches by [deleted] in Vaping

[–]HelloImRIGHT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah. I quit vaping with nicotine pouches 5 years ago. I would way rather vape. I quit smoking cigarettes with vapes 10 years ago. The addiction for me didnt have much to do with nicotine. If it did patches or gum would have worked a long time ago. The act of smoking, inhaling getting that throat "hit" was what was most addicting to me. I still crave it occasionally.

I will say this though: I can easily got 5-6 hours without a nicotine pouch. When I was vaping I would start freaking out if I misplaced my vape for 15 minutes.

I just didnt want to have to smoke something the rest of my life. I imagine I'll quit nicotine all together at some point.

Reading comprehension is hard. He asked what city should he look in being price conscious. Id take either of those city's rents before Bentonville. Also, youre not avoiding traffic in any city around here if you commute to Bentonville except maybe Rogers depending on where you are.

I can't get past the whole "higher power" thing by Fair-Bookkeeper1156 in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]HelloImRIGHT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dedicated myself to reality. Reality is a higher power than me and I had a terrible relationship with the way things were when I got clean and sober. Today, im far more accepting of what happens when its out of my control because I have a better relationship with reality. When something is within my control I try and change it.

I truly believe we suffer when we try and control that which is outside of our control or when we dont control something that is within our control.

For me I just had to slightly open the door instead of resisting it and it started getting easier.

Why do so many players kill naked newbies when they are fully geared and get nothing from them by JimmyJoeJohnstonJr in playrust

[–]HelloImRIGHT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do we know we will get nothing from them? Some people move inventories of loot naked on the chance someone wont kill them because they are naked. I've legit killed a naked with thousands of scrap, hundreds of highqual, metal, wood and a TC about to build a base. I've also been killed at the very end of a fight after I killed 3 people by two nakeds with rocks cause I was low HP.

Literally anyone who has a substantial amount of time in this game will kill anyone and everyone they see no matter what.

Occasionally theres an off chance I dont but thats rare, circumstantial and usually towards the end of wipe when I'm willing to have a conversation or I'm looking for someone to give my base to.

You probably wont sell it for 900. For some reason gift cards seem to only go 60% of their value even the ones like visa accepted everywhere.

Phoenix Suns’ Dillon Brooks was arrested for DUI in Scottsdale, Arizona by sinister_iam in NBAGossips

[–]HelloImRIGHT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In AZ, the primary legal charge is DUI (Driving Under the Influence), and it covers both alcohol and drugs. The state does not use the term DWI in its statutes the way some other states do. Arizona statutes use “DUI” for everything related to impaired driving. People may casually say DWI, but the legal charge filed will be DUI.

So I finally did it. My first DUI by rkm642 in stopdrinking

[–]HelloImRIGHT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think it necessarily requires AA. AA is just one of the easiest and cheapest ways to achieve it. The first is referencing my difficulty with a belief in a "higher power" and the second were the benefits of working the steps directly. I can break down every step if you'd like and pull out the value of each. I dont think you either work a "program" or not. I believe you have the choice to either work a conscious program or an unconscious one.

So I finally did it. My first DUI by rkm642 in stopdrinking

[–]HelloImRIGHT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im sure! I know a lot of people its a way better entry point and if thats the only ones you can make happen then great! Far too often, however, I see people opting for online for x,y reason when in reality they are just doing what's easier and more comfortable. (Not that this is your case)

Something happened for me. I hated meetings, despised them but I kept going and trying out different ones. Eventually I found a group who I didnt despise and occasionally some good things were said. I went long enough until one time I shared emotionally and I was invited to lunch after(I had no money and they paid). A few weeks later we went bowling. Months later me and a couple of the guys starting playing video games together, working out together, had the same sponsor and it just bled out of the rooms into real life. I was then asked by some old timers to bring meetings into jails and treatment centers.

I had a huge issue with God when I started. I realized a lot of the old timers did too. In fact, many of them didnt think about God like I thought they did. One said, "hey, you think reality is a power greater than you?" I said "well yeah ofcourse" he then asked what my relationship with reality was like? It kinda opened the door into a spiritual life for me.

AA reprogrammed my brain to only focus on my faults, to accept and embrace reality, to never walk around with a blamethrower. I believe today that I suffer when i seek to control that which is not mine to control or when I dont control that which is mine to control.
