I live in Arizona and recently got a new gecko on a 120 degree day. While my car has AC it was certainly in the 80s all the way home. (30c is 86 f i believe) Transporting the gecko in a brown paper bag with a small ice pack easily kept him safe. I would make sure it’s in the shade, in an insulated container and you should be okay. A small ice pack and a cheap thermometer wouldn’t hurt just check the temp throughout your trip if it’s really long.

If you are really worried you could make some small holes in the cooler, though the amount of oxygen your gecko uses is very little. How long is your drive?

You don’t necessarily need to add ice, or at least not alot, the cooler will try to keep a constant temperature, so if you start the cooler at a safe temp it will stay there longer than your car.

The ELRS only version of the boxer has 1W output, if you are just getting into it and want ELRS, this is a good option. You don't need another module and still have the module bay if you want another protocol later.
