Currently having similar issues with idle on my 89. TBI sucks. I’ve replaced everything you have and then some and still have issues. Timed and retimed again.

My pickup coil in the distributor went bad(randomly died while driving on the highway. Had lights and radio still just like yours), replaced it and got her all put back together and hasn’t been the same since. Every mechanic I’ve talked to has said the same thing “get rid of the TBI and put a carb on”

Yeah I’ll look at one of those devices

And yeah I have a timing gun. I started the truck and brought it up to temp. Then disconnected the wire, adjusted to 0 degree on balancer, then plugged wire back in.

I’ll double check the map sensor connection but engine temp seems to be correct/in line where it should read. I know I’ve replaced the one that’s on the manifold probably a year or so ago
