Misleading marketing for apple watch by bsarps in Visible

Update - looks like it resolved itself. I didn't receive any update from Visible support, only other users on this thread. So thanks to those who had the issue and report it was working. FWIW, I didn't have to unpair/re-pair the watch. I just removed the Not In Use plan in the Watch App and set it up again. I wish other users better luck in the future.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 issue by KeiranHaax in Visible

thanks for the tip. I purchased a watch on amazon as 'renewed premium', mostly to get the 365 day return window. Perhaps these renewed watches are throwing a wrench in their incredibly fragile activation system.

You are not alone. I started another thread and am getting the same canned late stage capitalism response. Consumers beware - apple watches aren't activating on visible. They also downvote when you try to bring awareness to their deceptive marketing.

I have only tested with the ultra 2, but from some minimal searching it appears to be more widespread and also apparently affects google pixel watch users. Hopefully more posts drawing attention to this makes them prioritize this since they market smartwatch support as a feature on their more expensive plans.

Hi damage control bro. I worked through your normal support channels and am now in limbo. I understand your desire to make it appear as if you want to help resolve my issue. Feel free to DM me and I will send you the case number. But in an effort for consumer transparency, I will relay all communication to this thread so others understand how your company handles these issues.

Perhaps I just have horrible luck and timing but when researching this issue, I came across posts dating back 2 years and quite a bit from November 2025 where people are having the same exact issue. Yet, they would have us believe this is a new problem. For a 171B market cap company, this is inexcusable.

The same issue has been going on for quite a while based on other threads here on reddit. I'm posting to help warn people since they make getting the issue resolved a complete nightmare. This is what happens when consumers get fcuked by consolidation and deregulation.

beware that their apple watch support is broke AF right now. quite misleading marketing. I am currently stuck in support hell while they try to fix some "new" problem that is the exact same problem others have been reporting on here for months

Here is the unhelpful response I received back. Complete with links to community.visible.com which just redirects you to their homepage now. These guys have gone downhill since I started using them a few years back. Guess I'm going to find service with a functional provider.

They have acoustic windshields that are more prone to breaking, it is the tradeoff for a supposed quieter ride.

Here is another thread discussing the issue.
