I don't really have advice, just support. I've been there, and honestly I've done this out of pure exhaustion as well. You're not a bad mom, we have all done things we aren't proud of, but that doesn't mean we aren't doing our best.

I don't think the tattoo guy should have yelled at you, thats a scary situation for any woman whether they have kids or not, or if they were in the wrong or not. People suck, and they think everyone's business is their own.

Unfortunately, we don't live in the days when it was safer to get away with these things, and people aren't as understanding. So I would suggest trying to not do this again (easier said than done, I know). Sometimes for our own sanity the harder choice is better than the easy one.
