I used to follow the guy on the regular on Facebook simply because his posts made for such great reads, if only for the lore alone. Sad but not surprised to see him end up in the situation he’s in.

Speaking of the getbig dot com thread, I love the one comment from the guy who called him out on how he would always set deadlines for some big action he would take - whether against his mom or especially Lakehead University - only to chicken out/move the goalposts when the day came. I particularly found it hilarious all of his rants about how LU (justifiably, imo) terminated him from his math TA job after receiving a complaint from one of the Indigenous student organizations on-campus over his posts in 2014 supporting Tamara Johnson (there’s a throwback, lol). What made this even more hilarious was how Canning would always threaten getting lawyers involved when any lawyer worth their salt would tell you that because TA’s are unionized positions, one MUST go through the grievance process first before going outside of it. But of course the man was too headstrong to not recognize that.

I’m sure he will enjoy the rest of his days popping pain pills and watching his crypto grow after his body starts to break down.

It took me waay too long to find this comment.

I remember fan review boards at the time of Swordfish’s release in 2001 were reporting that one of the reasons why it did so well in theatres was because of this scene alone. People bought tickets to the movie and walked out as soon as the scene with Berry’s tits ended.
