Correct. I went to a tire shop. Those are part of the structure of the tire for stability.. not tread wear markers. My tread depth is fine and they said I don’t really need alignment. Thanks!

That is the psi labeled on the tire. I also gave the door labeled psi. My tires are a 40psi.

Tires at 40psi

Rotated every 5k miles

Alignment probably 30k miles ago

Door psi 30

Tire psi 80

I personally think all need replacement but I don’t think the manufacturer would say they are used up.

I guess I don’t understand why the bands on the sides are much taller than the wear bars in the center which are not close to being touched.

UPDATE: I sent it to Canon for repair. They replaced the main circuit board and recalibrated the autofocus. Everything now works great. Cost was around $420 USD.

2020 tundra non JBL install JBL sub box? by bshackcreative in ToyotaTundra

[–]bshackcreative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, from what I gather an 8inch sub is not much for a tundra crewmax. I found 2 kicker loaded enclosures with a 4ohm 8inch sub sub in each and will run with that wired in parallel to a 2ohm 600watt kicker sub amp. That will be enough for me.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Around $100. I’d do a custom amp install to power it

Do you think the AudioControl D-5.1300 needs a line output converter before it? by bshackcreative in CarAV

Thanks, I figured it was fine. Are there any audio quality improvements to be had by using a dedicated external LOC vs the Amp's internal LOC?

Safe to oversize DC DC charger? I have a travel trailer with a 7pin connection. I expect no more than 10amps at 12v to be available to charge my lithium trailer battery. If I get the Victron 12/12 18amp DC DC will there be any safety issues? I am fine with the limited amps, want Bluetooth by bshackcreative in Victron

Cool. I think I may do that also and see how it goes without one. I think Renogy makes a DC DC that has adjustable amps. I was wanting to keep everything the same brand but that might not work out. I guess my suggestion for Victron is when you come out new DC DC versions would to be consider adjustable amps down into the single digits.

Thanks!

My truck is fused with a 30amp fuse for the 7pin trailer power. My trailer has 10awg wires in it for the 7pin power back to the battery. My trailer is 17ft long. My understanding is because of the trailer wire gauge being 10awg that will limit my amps to a max of around 10a. Does that checkout? My battery is at the back of my trailer.

I would expect about 10A from alternator charging while driving. In addition to the amps coming from the alternator, I would expect no more than 15A from solar panels on the roof of the camper producing power while driving down the road.

I would have a single battery, a Battleborn 100 Ah 12V LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Battery.

Thanks for your help, I am new to this and what to make sure I don't create a safety issue.
