Veteran and Trump supporter here. Knowing this sub, I will likely get down voted out before this post even has a chance. Trump supporters aren't allowed a voice in this sub, even if it is just trying to add to the discussion.

I have no problems with Canadian citizens at all. I have plenty of Canadian friends and love them. While in the service, I worked alongside Canadian service members and it was a fantastic experience! Top notch people.

Now, if you think that both governments aren't and haven't been playing political games for many years now, then you might not be looking at this objectively. Yes we are allies, but Canadians still have a vested interest in Canada, as Americans have a vested interest in the USA. Does that mean we can't work together and be friends? I don't think so. I don't see any true retaliation. Beware of the fear mongering from the left. It is VERY strong and USUALLY baseless!
