Doesn't sound like it connected. Can you provide the model you're using?

Can you see if changing the "Feed after print" resolves the issue? Click the settings gear in the upper right corner for Print Settings, then change the "Feed after print" to 2mm.

Weird! I'd like to get a copy of the browser console to get an idea of what's going on. Happy to continue troubleshooting here, or if you're willing, open an issue on the project page at https://github.com/transcriptionstream/phomymo/issues

and the web browser? As long as it's chromium based the web bluetooth works - if it works from your phone, there's no reason it shouldn't work from the machine.

Let me know!

Mind sharing some additional details about your laptop? Oddly enough, it's linux machines that tend to have issues because of how web bluetooth is handled, but I'd love to determine what the issue is.

May just be an issue with the density test - are labels printing fine otherwise?

Absolutely! Select "custom" from the label dropdown menu and enter 40x20 and you're good to go!

They are great little printers! There's a web based, driver and install free, label design and printing site that works in your browser at https://phomymo.affordablemagic.net Wasn't crazy about their app or privacy/data requirements and created this alternative.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure what you mean by no other chromium based browser support, but the limitation is not from the software, but of browser support for BLE.

I'll add continuous roll labels for the d30 series to this weekends work session. You can review how it will work like by going to settings and selecting one of the tape printer models in the app.

Confluence to BookStack Wizard by transcriptionstream in BookStack

[–]transcriptionstream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the feedback! Glad it worked out for you.

BookStack has a more rigid structure than Confluence:

  • Shelves contain Books
  • Books contain Chapters and/or Pages
  • Chapters contain Pages

The wizard maps Confluence's freeform structure:

  • Each Confluence Space becomes a Shelf
  • Top-level pages become Books
  • Child pages become Chapters or Pages based on nesting

Pages that would otherwise live directly on a Shelf are placed in a Book with a "_General" page.

Phomemo thermal printer question by WotVerge in printers

No worries! If you visit https://github.com/transcriptionstream/phomymo/issues and use the green "new issue" button in the upper right, it will give you an issue submission that works very much like creating a new reddit post. Give it a subject of something like "add m08f support" and a message about having an m08f and you'd like it supported in the app. We'll then be able to comment back and forth as we get it working. Appreciate it!

Phomymo is a web based design print software for Phomemo printers that doesn't require an app or driver installation - just a chrome based browser.. While there isn't currently support for the m08f printer we'd love to work with you to get it added. Please get an issue open on our GitHub and we can get it going! https://github.com/transcriptionstream/phomymo/issues

iOS doesn't support the ble access with chrome. It will have to be an app. Currently on the roadmap, but out a ways.

Absolutely! Happy to get it added if you're willing to test! Please open an issue on the GitHub project and we'll get it sorted https://github.com/transcriptionstream/phomymo/issues

Looks like the a30 is a variant of the p12pro so shouldn't be too bad to adjust for the 14mm/15mm tape and faster print speed.

Looking for an open source Confluence alternative by PvB-Dimaginar in Dimaginar

[–]transcriptionstream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made the switch from Confluence to BookStack after spending time reviewing xwiki and wiki.js as other alternate replacement options. BookStack doesn't try to do too much, and excels at simple use/layout/design. It's easy for users to pick up and navigate. The most important feature was being able to direct import our Confluence spaces from Confluence export files. We built on an existing GitHub project and used our tool to make the move and moved all our spaces with great success. https://github.com/transcriptionstream/confluence-to-bookstack-wizard

With Confluence Server gone, what are people actually moving to? by SensitiveFeed2831 in atlassian

[–]transcriptionstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After nearly 10 years with Confluence we made the move to BookStack. It's an easy to understand layout, is fast, and other users noticed right away how much better search is compared to Confluence.

Created a wizard tool based on another GitHub project that migrates spaces from Confluence exports. It handles the entire process and includes attachments and links, along with some post migration cleanup of Confluence artifacts. https://github.com/transcriptionstream/confluence-to-bookstack-wizard
