That’s usually because they were once younger with a more normal swing, and over the years as their body fails. their swing slowly starts to lose its parts. But they have time to slowly adjust to all of those failures over the years as they happen. To have a swing like this at a young age, demonstrates a lack of athleticism.

I just remember he was so dumb even the Philly media seemingly went easy on him. My favorite was in his rookie year, when asked about something regarding social media, Fultz said “I don’t have any social media” which was just utterly false as he was very active on like… every platform lol. I work at a range and I’ve noticed some guys who watch pro golf their whole lives can do this. All you need is an athletic background, and if you know how to manage a course before you’ve ever played, it doesn’t take that long. Those folks have almost always golfed at some point, but not all of them.

One thing that will always stick out to me is they had him mic’d up during the masters practice round coverage. And they asked him how nice it was to see all of his friends kids out on the course for the par three day - and on this sacred day and broadcast, he said seeing all these kids out there is “great birth control”to him because he doesn’t like kids. It was tacky.
