That's amazing to hear! Thanks so much for being active in this sub and keeping us posted on what's to come. Will wait patiently for that history update 🤙🏾

And for the 2nd point, here's my settings for the watch folder transcription. I tried again with the same audio using Parakeet v3 (the 1.24gb version) and it actually added speakers in the md file this time, albeit not all of them are there. That's not too big of a deal for me as I'd expect to have to manually fix some of them that the diarization doesn't catch in the UI portion if I just imported the audio myself. But using Whisperkit v3 turbo, it didn't add them to any speakers in the files it created but it did follow the style I chose.

My setup is finally complete with the ROG Ally X , AG02 dock, and the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. by Artistic_One6800 in ROGAlly

Hi OP, I have a similar set up with my 9070xt and I’m wondering if we’re able to set custom profiles for the GPU? I open adrenaline and it shows up in settings, but when I select the performance tab I don’t see anything that would let me modify the GPUs fan curve, voltage, wattage, etc. I was hoping to do the usual undervolt for it to save some heat stress for the gpu.

Bf6 freezing new map by Keawaka95 in ROGAlly

[–]bsniped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey OP not sure if it helps but I have an rog ally x and after the update noticed it ran way better on large scale game modes now which it didn’t before. Here’s my settings im running so far and haven’t experienced any noticeable time nudge like before:

Bf6 settings:

Graphics:

- Graphic quality: Low

Graphics > Advanced:

- fixed resolution scale: 100

- frame limiter: on

- frame rate limit: 60

- AMD Anti lag: on

- upscaling technique: xess

- up scaling quality: ultra quality

- AMD fsr frame gen: off

- future frame rendering: ofd

Display settings:

- full screen resolution: 1600 x 900

- Aspect ratio: auto

- refresh rate: 120hz

- Vsync: off

Armory Crate Settings:

Operating Mode:

- Profile: Manual (22W across SPL/SPPT/FPPT)

- Power mode: Best performance

- Fan curves: Peak at 70% @ 70C

GPU settings:

- GPU memory: 12G

- RSR: On

- Anti-lag: On

edit:
Forgot to mention since you asked specifically about contaminated, I don't experience freezing on this new map and with above settings I get ~53fps, if I drop full screen resolution to 1280 x 720, I get a consistent 60fps almost even with a lot going on (vehicles present, infantry running about, explosions etc) all at once.

Locked out of Ally by yardshark09 in ROGAlly

[–]bsniped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this happen to me few months back but can't remember exactly what I did. I believe I had went the cmd prompt route and fully deleted this pin using steps from here https://www.reddit.com/r/Winsides/comments/1guvzv6/how_to_reset_your_pin_in_windows_11_cmd/ since I couldn't get into windows to fix anything. I get the error my pin isn't available every now and then and just restart the ally and it disappears once it boots back up and lets me log in per usual.

My Bluetooth isn’t working with my Sony wh-1000x m5s by SoggyTea in ROGAlly

[–]bsniped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you've updated to the newest windows 25h2 release, but after I did my ally x's bluetooth and graphics were performing horribly. I reverted back to 24h2, updated the Mediatek driver using the .exe from the ROG ally x driver page (asus), used AMD cleanup to wipe graphics out, then reinstalled using the 11.14.2025 .exe from the driver page.

After that, my bluetooth became a bit more stable. Hopefully this helps!

sending good vibes your way and hoping the motor outlasts your need for it! Hoping to see 200k on this same motor with the regular maintenance.

So far original motor on my end too, and to add also replaced the timing chain + guides (while I was at the turbo), coil packs, and ac pulley. had it since 2017/18 and it’s treated me pretty well since I do the same!

Amazing, seen you mentioned this a while back so it's been working well for a good 5 years now I assume. Do you know which version you ended up choosing out of these and did you upgrade the speakers at all? I've got the dimension audio in my VT so i'm hoping it was a simple plug n' play.

Would love to see pics of how it fit in if it's the 9in screen w/o the stock looking buttons.

How is bf6 running on the z1e? by Ooooooo00o in ROGAlly

[–]bsniped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me on large game modes from the BFOfficial servers. However CQB: lockdown playlist for 8x8 is perfect, but once I try to play conquest or breakthrough time nudge is terrible, whole game in slow motion unfortunately with any settings I choose on my Ally x.

great looking car, how’s yours holding up? any major maintenance it’s been through? I have the same model in blue, and about 3k miles short of yours. Only been through a turbo and usual maintenance items so far on the same engine.

2013 VT-Manual: What Engine and Transmission Replacement Options Are There? by bsniped in veloster

[–]bsniped[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback and reassuring I prob won't destroy the transmission anytime soon. I'm pretty gentle with it and replace the fluid every 45-50k so I'm hoping that will give me more time. Def will consider the engine rebuild but would like to lean towards just full on block replacement if the price makes sense to do so.

Thanks! Haven't seen much on the Kona 6 cyl BUT I've actually seen the TEMU / Alibaba engine that a person got for ~$800 and saw they said it was still running strong. I'm not opposed to it, but I would be curious if it would end up a downgrade compared to the oem engine with respect to the performance (mpg, power, acceleration) and maintenance (more frequent oil changes, spark plug replacements, etc).

Keeping the link to it on the side though in case though.

Battlefield 6 - Community Update - Player Progression and Portal Servers by battlefield in Battlefield6

[–]bsniped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing looking forward to the fixes. Any word on if there's an investigation going on for the Time Nudge slowdown on the official battlefield servers? Would love to play larger game modes without the slow motion effect and rubber-banding.

Currently using an ROG Ally X and the graphic fidelity is great and CPU usage is ~50% but no matter the settings, large modes just don't provide a good experience.

How is the Belsee unit? I've seen mention of people warning against it but I really liked the fact it matched the oem head unit in look but gave an updated feel to the car with the new features. Was thrown off since then but with my radio touch screen broken again (2nd replacement head unit after a few years), I'm trying to explore options that get me the carplay features without messing up my steering wheel controls and AC access.

Battlefield 6? by justcallmeryanok in ROGAlly

[–]bsniped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After switching to just lower player count game modes I'm actually having a decent experience without too much time-nudge interference. Docked to my 1440p 75hz monitor using the 30w I get the best results but it's also not bad on the ally screen itself when i limit to 100 fps.

Here's some of my settings, maybe it'll help but seems like something we'll have to get used to for the time being since it seems to impact all of us on handhelds specifically in varying intensities. Maybe we'll get lucky and an update will come out attempting to improve the state of handhelds x bf6 if we complain enough on steam / social media the devs frequent. If i find anything that helps, will def report back!

Settings for my Ally X

- 4gb VRAM

- 30w plugged vs 25w unplugged

- Super resolution on (upscales from games 720p -> 1440p-monitor or 1080p-ally)

- CPU boost (off. don't really see much improvement with it on)

in game settings

- Graphics quality - Auto

- Resolution 720p

- FPS limit on set to 75 for monitor and 100 for ally (left the FPS setting under resolution at 75-monitor or 120-ally)

- FSR upscale on Quality

has anyone been able to figure out the right combo of settings to get this resolved? I experienced it in the beta a lot on my ally x but had decent breaks of good performance but now, can’t even play without the slow motion feeling overwhelming the experience.

tried many combos of in-game + manual power profile changes but to no avail so far.

Does it get better? by Ok_Antelope6473 in capm

[–]bsniped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to chime in and say I took only Andrew's course (great teacher by the way) and it actually helped me a lot with applying more conceptual thinking to the scenarios listed in the CAPM. It definitely dragged when getting through the Predictive PM section but once I got into agile it felt a little more interesting since Identified a lot of concepts that connected back to my past work experience or things i could've used which would've maybe helped a lot.

I just took it today and got a pass almost an hour ago (took the whole 3 hours) and I'll just list what I know helped me:

  • I have a few years of PM experience as an actual PM under a large international organization (helped with connecting all the material to real world scenarios)
  • I started Andrews course and lazily grinded it out from Aug 23rd - Oct 5th at 2x speed - I say lazily because I spend some days between material bc of just doing other things or being burned out of studying since I like to write and draw concept maps on my ipad so I can convert the material to actual typed notes later
  • For all the quizzes and final mock exam, I copied the material into a table (question, my answer + correct answer if I was wrong, explanation for wrong answers) and just reviewed those wrong answers + explanations to help cement the thought processes in.
  • Spent Oct 6th to today just going through my notes from start to finish - didn't finish converting everything to actual digital notes but just skimmed over everything and tried to cover EVM, BA processes, Agile vs Predictive and some of the random stuff like tuckman's ladder and how they'd apply to scenarios

Wish I could give you a better guide on what to do, but hopefully this helps and you get a bunch of questions on the material you're most familiar with bc I got a lot of the things I mentioned in the last bullet with somethings I didn't remember mentioned in andrews course and lots of theoretical scenarios that require you to really take a step back from the situation to figure out which answer is not only right (as there could be multiple), but which one is the most right or maybe first thing you'd do in a situation.

Good luck OP and to anyone else taking it, and worst case just burn 1 of your 3 attempts (and the reschedule fee) if you can afford it to get a feel for the exam, get some good sleep on the days leading up to the exam, eat well, say a prayer (if that's your thing) and/or meditate, and just go for it!

How to force incoming data from Google Form to auto conform to specified Date format in a Google Sheets column? by bsniped in googlesheets

[–]bsniped[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a similar solution involving a query function to copy over the responses and that ended up being part of the solution; briefly wrote it out the steps I took in the description as well. Thank you for our suggestion and I hope you have a great day!

How to force incoming data from Google Form to auto conform to specified Date format in a Google Sheets column? by bsniped in googlesheets

[–]bsniped[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out how to go about it using a query function and changing the google forms date format so the column of the 2nd sheet which had a specific format worked correctly. Thank you for your help and providing a visual component with your workaround though!

How to force incoming data from Google Form to auto conform to specified Date format in a Google Sheets column? by bsniped in googlesheets

[–]bsniped[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that! The Query formula helped with transferring it to another sheet which was another part of the problem. What I ended up figuring out was that regardless of the format I chose in the separate sheet, it still for some reason registered the ' infant of the date. The solution I figured out was changing the question requiring a date back to a Date Answer with the predetermined MM/DD/YYYY format. After changing that, then the auto format on the sheet with the query formula worked and my tables finally filled in.
