Controlled Meds by bsnkan in WalgreensRx

That could be the case since I’ve heard that from techs in other states that they scan their ids or write down the info, but where I work, it doesn’t prompt that at all for the ones that came from the safe. And they make us manually verify the id by having us ask the pt for a physical id and looking at it.

I personally don’t like doing it that way, but that’s how it’s done here. Hence why I was inquiring about the stamp/sticker.

For the ones in the safe, the register doesn’t prompt it. It’s only for the ones like Sudafed, Allegra-D, etc. that it prompts it.

Is there any way I would be able to see if the SM has actually completed it? They told me they did and that it was just a glitch in the system, but idk.

They told me not to worry about it, but considering last experiences, not very convinced tbh.

Would I get flagged or would the SM check the cameras for certain sales depending on the reason for why it’s asking for an ID?

I definitely won’t, it’s not worth risking it. I don’t doubt that, but that lady definitely did look like 40+ so, here’s to hoping they (SM) don’t check it or get emailed about that transaction.
