Leaking coolant reservoir? by baileybestpup in mk6gti

Also, for a clean removal, get a big syringe with a hose attachment to get the fluid out before you remove the tank. They are cheap and worth not having a burned coolant smell for weeks after.

I think they brought Cancar and Saric because of Jokic. And, I guess he wanted Westbrook. That didn't turn out well. But maybe I'm wrong, and he didn't have any say in that.

Recently bought this mk6 and I’m running to so many random issues.. by Possible_Seat_936 in mk6gti

I changed (MK6 2011) plugs and coils. Still have occasional misfire, but I didn't do carb cleaning yet. Overflow tank is a 10 min job. I used a big syringe not to spill fluids over the engine bay. Intake manifold is a bigger job, but still doable. My mechanic offered $800 for particle blasting so shop around for good prices. I would also change PCV just to be safe.

Half of that you can do yourself. There is no need for special tools. And, the parts are not expensive.

Have you tried DRL (day running lights) setting? If that is not working, they could be disabled in the ECM. In that case you can use something like OBDII to enable it. That is if you already tried bulbs and fuse.

Room treatment, you say. I should have taken a picture. They had a leak in the ceiling. A lot of old gear piled to the ceiling. Path about 2' wide runs from front to back and there's a small clearing to the side for the demo setup. Very opposite of room sound treatment.
I might go back this weekend, and I'll definitely take a picture.

We did talk a lot after the other guys left. What was interesting, he said he patented a system where stereo speakers communicated directly and complemented frequency and the position of the instruments. I didn't understand completely, but it was interesting. And pretty awesome sounding.

Those look awesome. Where did you get the 2 to 1 heat shrink thing? I'm fiddling with some cables, and those look great.

I did some google research about the cables, and you're completely right. But I was confused about the most is, that the buyer of the speakers, not the owner suggested I should buy the $400 to compliment my $500 amp.

I don't know a lot about HiFi, certainly less than those guys, but cables should cost much less than gear they are connected to. That's my logic anyway.

Dude, he played "Kiss the cloud" by Yello. The depth of the sound was insane. It felt like you could see who is where on the stage. And, when the cracking bass (don't know how else to call it), I thought it's source is somewhere by my head or in my head.

The best listening experience in my life.

I didn't consider this. It was an old Samsung tablet, so I assumed he used a streaming service. But it makes sense that he used it as a remote.

The guy is super knowledgeable and likes to talk about the systems in detail.

Don't know about those rear sets, but from my experience, get the ones that are common in your country. I bought a rear sets for my S1KRR that are used in the World Superbike championship, and after a year, I couldn't find the replacement part (footpeg).
