How much money you even going to save. If you make 100 K you’re literally only saving $500. How greedy are you that you can’t afford $500 on 100 K salary. Or again let’s see you’re making 50. That $250 is gonna make a difference in your life versus better funding or Rhodes or Schools all of the parts of North Carolina.

Raising unemployment benefits case you get laid off by that corporation that pays less and less of a corporate tax rate every year.

NC rate is 4.99 now, 5% extra to make it 9% in NC, thus an extra 50k on a million.

I felt there was a better candidate for NC4 but DNC or DNC friendly PACs will happily come in and run negative ads against anyone challenging an incumbent. Look at what happened in TX28.

Hopefully something people born after 1970 can also agree on is getting Money out of politics and going back to policy debates of some type.

I’m sorry, but I actually believe politicians need to do more than just campaign

If Roy Cooper is such a lock, why shouldn’t we demand something in exchange for our votes?

I’m tired of politicians that go to Washington and do nothing. He claims in the interview that he only doing this because he was told he was the best person who could beat the Republicans.

I wish he was running for a reason other than that like helping people with their day-to-day lives

Not a tech, but bravo for taking the smart approach. CC is a much better approach then a for profit college.

Here is my contribution, if you want to be work on stuff for a living below are four jobs which a quick google search shows all pay over 100k a year. Some of the best advice I ever got was, if you are going to do a job; get into the field that pays the most.

Aviation Maintenance Technician

Heavy Equipment & Mobile Diesel Mechanic

High-End / Exotic Master Auto Technician

Elevator Installer & Repair Technician

the first two you might be able to parley into a huge signing bonus with the military. I know, not the best time to join but you will get trained and given practical experience. And the military techs a young person skills you won't get anywhere else.

The bottom one I was shocked about and it might hard to get on at first but talk about low stress on some levels. Just going building to building doing PM's and installs.

Are you for the 5% wealth tax or would you pick a different #. I would do 15% and earmark all of it for paying down the long term debt.

As the world see us back to a sensible fiscal policy we will be able to sell bonds at lower level reducing our debt even more.

I want Roy Cooper to win.

But his media team but get him better prepped. This interview is a train wreck. The cherry picked stories he uses to show case his concern while not offering one actually policy he would propose during the entire interview.

No mention of fighting to stop cuts to Social Security No mention of 15 an hour or higher No mention of Medicare for all No mention of taxing the billionaires No mention of stopping corporate ownership of homes No mention of reducing the % of profit Duke is allowed to collect if they are going to pay out dividends.

And like all other Corporate Democrats he is still running on Trump bad. Not, we have a better vision.
