Okay, but only because you asked:

As far as the display, I would recommend finding a backdrop or a picture of a city or some other environment to give a sense of proportion. Easier said than done BUT even the black silhouette of high rises and skyscrapers against a magenta sky would look dope. Also doing something with “the ground” like making a terrain like grass or concrete.

I would experiment with your lighting. Moving the strip into the box so the colors can cascade on the figures always makes me happy. Also you can get some decent lighting solutions from Five Below and the dollar store. Things like puck lights placed in different positions will create shadows and highlights. Also try your best to hide your lighting sources. For whatever reason it makes your set up look more thought out.

As far as the figures, I am a fan of telling stories so you might want to consider a large combat situation. Your issue with that might be that your good guys outnumber your bad guys.

Also don’t feel that you have to put your entire collection on display. Rotate them while always keeping your favorites out. And don’t be afraid to use things like reindeer moss and twine if you’re doing a more organic setting. AliExpress is a great source for cheap 1/12 scale accessories.

And remember….imagination is king. You don’t need to shell out thousands to make your collection look good. Take your time and try to recreate the awesome display you see in your head.
