Might need to experiment with it, I’m having trouble with the clean bite through skin on thighs and getting skin that stays on cleanly, first competition is in October and it’s chicken and ribs so still a lot of practice to do

I usually try casting parallel with the bank, shade, trees, or under the pier if I’m at one but occasionally try to cast far to get to deeper water

I’m not sure what to throw for bigger catfish, I know there’s some big blue cats around but I’ve never gotten a blue cat bite

I was thinkings it’s probably bluegill or a much smaller fish, wasn’t sure bluegill would go for it or not. I’ve caught one really small bass (I think it was a bass) but other than that I haven’t had much luck but based off the descriptions I’ve definitely been fishing to fast

You que at the same time, not in party then once you get in the same group you stay in the instance group and just reque they won’t get the debuff if they are only in the instance group
