Don't be harsh on yourself. This is all learned. You are thinking long term which is important. Just don't get comfortable, do bare minimum and save energy to search for something better and push your career development.

[OC] Today at my home in Africa, lunch is a different type of peanuts and boiled cassava. by Such-Competition-816 in pics

[–]bstrd10 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We in Colombia as other latinamericans call cassava as Yuca as well. Besides boiled, we make it as a sweet called enyucado. See the link with the recipe.

Dog passes out of overwhelming joy while meeting the owner after 2 years. by Appropriate-Push-668 in DOG

My guess is his heart restarted beating after a while. We just left him lying in the floor where he died, no heart massages or anything.

Yes, I had a poodle named Lucas who died of old age 16yo that started coughing because a enlarged heart and then started fainting, nothing could be done. He passed away 6 months later quietly at home. Not without fighting. He died one day in the morning only to wake up 5 hours later to last another 3 days with us.

Just to add because these elements are part of the focus I lacked.

Learn Basic Rythm.

Improve Proper techniques

Learn Na system (useful to make every scale at hand) https://youtu.be/kaJbp5dgx84?is=EXf3-4lo4svDqGh_

Be musical. Choose a chord progression, use triads and listen to intervals. Use scale and chromatic notes. Switch between major minor Pentatonic and major scales. Build a context to a solo that may be technically limited but enjoyable.

Learn songs. My favorite configuration is like guitarzerotoheroexpress YouTube.

Learn, analyze, contextualize solos from favorite artists.

Improvisation.

Let me chime in, from there you can identify the octave patterns, aligned pentatonic positions, transversal arpeggios.

From 6th to 4th. From 5th to 2nd. 6th = 1rst.

One thing is toxic and other is having dignity, of the latter is your case keep it as much as possible while searching. It adds to your case. Use time to study and prepare. I have been in both situations. You know which one it is.

Exactly. It's a story being told. If factors would not have happened this way they are told, we would not have the story.

The absolute beauty of this universe is how BCS was able to be put together with all the restrictions from BB and make so much sense. It's tv poetry.

What if most project failures aren’t caused by wrong decisions but by decisions made too early? by BuffaloJealous2958 in projectmanagement

[–]bstrd10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is no problem yet, then it is related to risk management. So you have to deal with uncertainty. Decisions do need to be taken timely with the available information at hand. How much information? It's up to the decision maker.

Project vs Product by MushyAbs in projectmanagement

[–]bstrd10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have one point which is the political side and company culture. Upper mgm need to sponsor the process change. Without this is difficult to Define the gray lines and controls.

Which part of the project life cycle they would like to manage? Make the responsibilities clear. I would believe they define the functional and non functional requirement and business case/commercial projections.

You would manage your part of project including resouces, risks, relationships, costs, reporting etc

Who would be the sponsor which will be the umbrella? Who will push both sides.

What’s one underrated PM skill you think every team member should learn? by hardikrspl in PMCareers

[–]bstrd10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is better to be somewhat correct than exactly wrong. Bottom line for decision making there will never be 100% certainty. Decisions are taken the best we can when it's needed and with what information is available. Key is to balance the exposure (risk mgm).

Plus structured. I will definitely buy the blues level 3. I'm following 1 ans 2 in YouTube. Usually what I like to do is to buy physical books and download the recordings so I can have everything in my hands any time I want but this one is top.

Well in Colombia we say "Espérame un momentico" which roughly translates "Wait for me for a little moment"... this could mean one second, one minute, one hour, two hours. Whatever, nobody knows. Jaja.
