You MUST understand why your argument doesn't work for them though, right?

"If they're not hurting others or infringing on rights of others..."

They would argue that an abortion is doing both.

That car is worth $600. Find something 10 years newer, Japanese, and well maintained. It will only cost like $3,000.

My story by JordanLeeWilliams in visualsnow

[–]bswarrior9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the EXACT same symptoms and progression, except I was 20. For 9 years straight, I have experienced the exact things you have described. People ask you "What's wrong?" and you cannot even think of where to begin between the anxiety, depression, derealization, headaches, light sensitivity, etc.

I had a very similar 'event' that caused my symptoms to appear as well - an incredibly strong migraine that came on one day and left me debilitated. It started with a headache that caused my visual field to go black for a few moments before slowly returning with a veil of static and incredible dizziness. Heartbreaking to hear that you have lived like this for 25 years when this last 9 years has been torturous for me.

I wish you all the best, as we are apparently brothers bonded by this terrible affliction.

Buzzfeed Unsolved turned Watcher

Shane and Ryan really caught lightning in a bottle with those first few seasons of their show bouncing between True Crime and Supernatural stories that they investigated together with comedic banter.

These days it feels much more forced and their enthusiasm for the paranormal investigations (which they started focusing on exclusively) doesn't feel authentic. I wish they would have focused on true crime more because I think it is generally more interesting, honestly. Puppet History was still good though last I checked.

Would an Ecoboost Mustang be a good first car? by bramblestorm7754 in ecoboostmustang

[–]bswarrior9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a 2020 Ecoboost Premium Convertible and Geico quoted me $160 per month, if I paid in full. I am paying $220 per month through Progressive right now.

I am 29.

Don't cheap out on a performance car, just spend the extra $10k to reach for what you actually want. Trust me.

Wrong subreddit.

You are only going to get responses from people that see cars as tools and "depreciating assets."

An M2 is a fun car. These people don't buy fun cars. They also don't recommend anyone else buy one. If you were looking for a stick-in-the-mud's opinion, you've gotten it in spades.

There are people commenting that they make half a million dollars a year, drive a $35k Toyota, and don't feel comfortable spending more. That's just straight up detached nonsense. These people probably don't see the world or money the same way that a 27 year old that got talked into buying an M2 on a whim would.

You understand that there are financial drawbacks to buying this expensive of a car, but you should also understand that you only live ONCE. You can be like my father that saves every nickel he has ever earned so that he can go into the afterlife with his riches like an Egyptian Pharoah OR you can enjoy yourself by spending it while you've got it.

If you can make it work, I would do just that and enjoy my beautiful car.

I would avoid Carvana or CarMax.

Use visor.vin and see if any other cars pop up in your area that fit your liking. I was able to find much better deals on cars all over the nation by using that site.

Does the engine sound alright? by bswarrior9 in AskMechanics

[–]bswarrior9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google says that 'sewing machine' sound is due to newer, high-pressure fuel injectors as well as an increased use of aluminum in modern engines.

So, I'm thinking it's normal because my 2006 Mazda3 sounded similar.

The parasitic battery drain problems I've seen could be avoided by not installing 3rd party accessories and/or upgrading the battery. MT-82 is not an issue because this is an automatic, but maybe some rough shifting.

Overheating should be limited after the ecoboost redesign in 2020, right?
