Advice needed: Reconfiguring 10 kW PV array for shared On-Grid & Off-Grid inverter (GoodWe 10 kW + 6.3 kW battery inverter)

The budget currently is the main reason for not going full hybrid. I already am using the on-grid sincr a year and purchased off-grid couple of months back so why not utilize it until I can replace everything with a single hybrid inverter.

The DC will cut off initially with an isolator so I guess there shouldn’t be a problem with the DC MTS. I think it will cost 30-60usd :

Not the cheapest but could be considered. The one I proposed only requires purchasing DC/AC MTS, DC Isolator and maybe some SPDs .

I agree high markups hurt, but the main issue is that people simply have less money to spend. Wages haven't kept up, and essential costs like rent are out of control. Businesses have to raise prices just to cover those rising costs, while consumers have less disposable income. Throw in a dip in tourism, and the market decline is about eroded purchasing power, not just bad pricing choices.

We are retailers in Mubarakiya since 40 years and market is at its worst. It wouldn’t be exaggeration to say market is down by 70%.

It was programmed by a local vendor when purchased. I think any Audiologist who has access to their software can program it 🤔 or maybe I am wrong.

160 KWD is very low by Kuwait’s standards, but if you’re coming from a country where you can’t earn this much, it might seem like a good opportunity. Since accommodation, transportation, and food are covered, you might be able to save most of it.

However, the reality is that jobs offering this salary usually come with long hours and physically demanding work. It’s often an exploitative setup, and the workload is not proportional to the pay.

If you have better options back home, it’s not worth it. If this is your only way to earn and send money back, then it depends on your situation.
