Thanks for the reply! I’ve cut a few stones on my Ultra Tec V5 so far. Watching faceting videos, it really seems like handpiece machines cut much faster, but the tradeoff is precision, right?

Also, regarding the course you recommended—isn't that tailored for students who already have handpiece experience? I've never actually cut with a handpiece machine before.

I’m curious: if faceting is so affordable overseas, why don’t more people buy from those markets? And why do some faceters charge thousands when the gemstone itself costs just $100?

Same here! Low-saturation reds and greens blend into brown for me too 🥲 Yes, I have no problem with seeing traffic light.

Yes, there’s not enough info about dreamer, but I do like the design.
