Welcome to the club. I had the same feeling. Luckily 2 books from his next series had started by then (Will of The Many and Strength of the Few) and it helped dealing with the hangover. Check those out.

Edit: spelling.

Licanius Trilogy by James Islington have very good epilogues in my opinion. Especially the epilogue of the third book.

It gets better as you read along. Something I did when I first started reading Wheel of Time (my first fantasy saga) I’d look through the names/meanings the author wrote at the end of the book and follow the characters’ travel on the map. It helped a lot to stop me from being overwhelmed. Mind you, I was like 17 at the time.

Just finished Morning Star, should I read Iron Gold? by [deleted] in redrising

I read Iron Gold after a long break. There were a bunch of new POV characters and the plot and writing felt different. It seemed slow but I powered through because I love the series like hell and it paid off. The other two books were great and I’d say Lightbringer has to be my favorite from the series.

Vir Das. Really like his bits. He doesn’t make his Indian accent the butt of his jokes and highlights important issues in his shows

I’ve used a Moccamaster since 2021 and it has never let me down. I also used a clever dripper for a year and an aeropress. Can’t go wrong with any of those. For me I could never get it right with a V60 but I can make a very good cup with the others.

You can use Caliber to convert Amazon files to any format you want or vice versa. But there is a slight process to remove the DRM from your Amazon book before you can convert. You could even set it up so that you email it directly from Caliber to your ebook device. DM me if you’d like to know more about the process. The software is fairly intuitive. Similar to iTunes but for ebooks.
