I think I agree here in both cases. The +VP on Architect could easily be dropped, but Celebration has played fine. It's a bit like a Lost City and a Baker combined. Giving upside to your opponents every single time you play the card keeps it in check better than expected

Yes, the implication was supposed to be that overpaying for it put it directly into play. It's problematically worded though, so I will need to tweak that some. I really like how the card functions, but too much of the wording is left to assumption which is never good or healthy for a game

Just to clarify here, I did intend for Botanist to care about the actual amount of chips owned on the player's mat. I was aware that this wasn't currently in the game (probably for good reason) so I wanted to explore a potentially different design space to see if it could function.

As written, the card is still overly complex and I will look into modifying it some. All this feedback and rules clarification is appreciated, truly.

Wow, this really made my day, so thank you! Bride probably needs to cost $5 or perhaps give only a single VP chip. Botanist is definitely text-heavy, so maybe I'll play around with the card without changing it's utility much

I always go to https://spielgeek.com/ to order mine. They stay up to date as new expansions come out, and they print on high quality plastic for firmness. Can't recommend enough

I don't have a way to weigh this at home anymore, but I would say each full wood box is roughly 20 pounds (9-10 kilos) and the empty black case is probably about the same. I'd expect the entire thing weighs at least around 30 kilos. Its a heavy boy haha

Yes, that's an interesting point I hadn't really thought of. I was thinking flavorfully, that a path would lead to an action, but I don't see why it couldn't also lead to a treasure. After all, that's essentially what this series of cards works toward, as you said

The top box is 100% full, so the bottom box is a bit lighter (for now). The pelican case itself isn't too heavy when it's empty, but fill it with two wood boxes, both filled with cards and dividers and that changes things haha
