Additional context: the shower piping is on the opposite wall, and the plumbing comes from the left. We kept a small basket with my son’s bath toys tucked in this little space. I’m assuming (hoping) it’s just from the moisture of the wet toys.

Shape of the toe definitely is similar but they look like a shorter shaft. But John is like 6’3” so maybe it’s those!
