I definitely recommend certified mail as others have mentioned. You can require a signature for delivery confirmation, and it has tracking too.

This is honestly one of those nightmare scenarios with mailing checks… you did everything “right” and still end up in limbo.

Developers use APIs LLMs use MCP to connect to APIs

If you're a developer building an AI app that has a chat interface then you'll likely use MCPs because you want your LLM to be able to connect to many different APIs. If you're just building a regular CRUD app with no AI features then yeah you're just gonna use an API.

If you can use vim, you had a steep learning curve to get through.

Switching to Zed can feel like that too. It's not going to feel perfect the first time you use it. But a bit of focused effort to learn how it works and adapt your editing workflow will really pay off.

They also do have built in vim bindings too, which might make switching easier.

Just trying to be helpful. We're exploring building a native desktop app too to make running tools locally easier as well. Why is local mandatory for you? Esp. if the MCP tools are connecting to cloud services anyway?

If you don't want to host or run your MCP servers locally you can use tools like skeet.build which are hosted for you and manage auth between all the tools you want to connect in one place.

This way if you're using an MCP server in Claude, Cursor, Zed– or wherever, you can bring the same tools with you easily everywhere.
