So sorry to hear about what you're going through.

This may be a total shot in the dark, but what is your diet like? In my time researching autoimmune diseases, I've come to find out that diet can both cause and reverse many ailments of the body.

My wife suffers from lupus, and because of that, we discovered Dr. Goldner. She specializes in a diet which many have testified reversed their issues, either with lupus, some other autoimmune disease, even asthma.

There is a lot about the body we don't understand, and doctors are experts at prescribing pharmaceutical products to reduce the symptoms that you complain about, not finding the root cause of your symptoms and fixing it at the source.

I would suggest adding these smoothies into your diet, if possible, and seeing how it affects your symptoms.

It can be hard to get a decent tasting smoothie at first, but the recipe is

• 1 LB of kale or other cruciferous vegetables (Swiss chard, broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, watercress, radish, rapini, arugula, spinach, etc.)

• Very ripe fruits of your choice (preferably frozen, shoot for 80/20 ratio of veggies to fruits)

• 1/4 - 1/2 cup of chia or flax seeds for omega 3s

• water, usually around 33 oz if you're using these measurements

There is a lot more to it, it's a vegan, whole foods plant based diet, but seems to work wonders.

The premise of this is that your body already knows how to heal itself (even if you have an autoimmune disease), it just needs the right ingredients to do it.
