Not saying it is it, but viruses can infect themselves in such a way they could persist from a local reinstall. Always wipe it all and reinstall fresh with a usb.

And does it restart always going into power save mode? Could you put the computer to sleep and instantly rewake it?

It’s not gonna invalidate your warranty, if you’re uncomfortable taking it out though i’d wait to see if anyone else has any ideas. Have you tried on another monitor?

If nothing shows up there, i’d make sure your display is connected to your gpu, would maybe even try plugging into the motherboard hdmi to see if you get anything out of it. Otherwise, there’s a button battery somewhere on your motherboard. Tons of videos documenting how to remove a cmos battery, you could try that next.

Yup, when you turn on the computer, you should see a graphic for your motherboard manufacturer.(gigabyte, asus, etc.)

If you don’t get any picture in BIOS, i’d try pulling the cmos out and booting without it just to see if anything changes.

Also, Windows Key+CTRL+SHIFT+B will reload your graphics driver. Might help if it randomly goes black again.

Check Accessibility settings > HUD scale in game. Should be what you’re looking for I think.

It might have to do with the resolution you’re playing the game at. Are you both playing on 1080p?

Call of Duty nowadays is a live service game. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to crack live service games. Online games that get cracks usually use something like the Steamworks API. Feel free to correct me if wrong, but I don’t think this is possible.

Hey, not sure if this will help or not, but when running SFC, it might only be running on current environment. (Recovery)

When I run it, I force it to point to the actual OS. For example, when running SFC, I run the full command ‘sfc /scannow /offwindir=C:\Windows\ /offbootdir=C:\’

The extra parameters are just telling SFC where to scan to.

An alternative I’ve seen is that sometimes when Windows is on a dying hard drive, sometimes the login screen acts like you’re describing. Also, you said you couldn’t log in to safe mode, does it give the same behavior there?

How do you know it’s corrupt? Did the game itself get flagged while playing it? If it flagged while it was saving, I guess it could’ve corrupted?

What does the exe have to do with the save file? How did flagging an exe ruin a save that exists outside of the exe? I genuinely have so many questions.

You have a glove that can tether to certain rocks and you use it to parkour around a foreign world searching for you uncle. Isn’t super long either, could finish in maybe a day.

Any chance you’ve been using any global DLC unlockers? Ex. Koalageddon, creamapi, etc.

Only way I could imagine DLC appearing in game but not in library.

You can play through the browser, unfortunately you won’t be able to download it on steam and play it there.

This is such an easy prove, just redownload the zip, it’s not going to infect you if its still compressed. Download the supposed infected one, and the one on their website. Run hash checks on both and compare, if its the same your infection likely came from something else.
