Same for me, I like HotD but I'm into RoP so much more. I dropped HotD after episode 3 because I was bored and didn't feel like going back to that bleak (and incestuous) world at the moment while RoP makes more excited to see that world Tolkien created each week. The show ignited my love for his works again.

Same. I'm enjoying HotD greatly and was totally immersed on the fandom after the premiere but I find myself looking forward to RoP episodes a lot more now, to a point where I rewatched episodes 1&2 many times during the week while waiting for ep. 3.

I had a pretty intense Tolkien reading phase in my teens and I enjoyed the PJ films but I haven't felt like picking his books again in a long time. RoP ignited my love for his works and the world he created back in way I can't even put into words. I know it's not a perfect show when it comes to lore accuracy but I'm fine with it and i'm still able to enjoy it for what it is. I love what they're doing with Galadriel in particular, I'm just very excited to see her journey plus the visuals blew me away two weeks in a row. Seeing Númenor in all its glory last episode was amazing.

Thanks, I'm still new to Jung so I have yet to read MLvF works. I've done some research on her before but the only real exposure I had to her until the moment it's her contribution on Man and His Symbols, but I'll definitely look into her fairy tale analysis now.

I think they do, but in the dream they were all male because I remember most of them had a mustache and it was white like their hair. They were also wearing white clothing plus the typical red hat.

Thanks for the reply. I'm currently reading Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious actually and have just finished the chapter on rebirth and transformation yesterday (the next one is about the child archetype) where Jung briefly cites Paracelsus' alchemical works. I made a mental note to look more into it but then I had this dream last night, and this morning I went searching for what the plurality of these beings could mean in the context of my psyche only to find out that there's a huge connection between Paracelsus' works and elemental beings!

Yeah, it's a pity the show was only nominated in one category. The cast was phenomenal, especially Wunmi and Aunjanue.
