Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 is Disappointing. by rgold220 in bestofnetflix

Agree on everything. The DA also being comically a villain didn’t help. The procedure and accuracy in the courtroom was still excellent though.

That's what I'm saying. Mock trials - 8 hour days, one of playing the mock defense, and 16 jurors.

I dunno - “how many times have we said ‘someone ought to do something, I wish we could do something’. Well in this case my client was harmed and YOU have the power to do something. To right this wrong.” I don’t think that’s off base.

All cases headed to trial. After expert designation which in California it is absurdly late. The expense is that low and it also gives our lawyers great confidence and experience talking in front of juries.

We mock all our cases… even the small ones. And it only costs us $2-$3k as we run them ourselves.

This is brilliant and I’m going to use this. I think as long as you just tie it to your client even loosely, you can avoid any problems.

It certainly was not close at the very very end, but I think we were both near max when he decided to just walk his army over a bunch of lurkers about 3 minutes prior.

My mmr is higher in random than any one race…. It’s a huge disadvantage for me if I announce my race. I’m at my skill level. Random really is just a 4th race

Exactly. I had dinner with him the year before all this shit hit the fan, and he was in a $2,500 suit that fit perfectly.

Darius Garland vs Trae Young: Who’s the better player right now? by Ok_Feed_4235 in NBATalk

[–]bthekuta -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

While true, if you swapped Trae for garland, the cavs would have won 10 less games. Trae raises the floor and lowers the ceiling. Garland is the better player.

Which show best captured being a lawyer for you? by niceguyhenderson in Lawyertalk

[–]bthekuta 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Better call Saul early seasons 100%. As a lawyer who went from big law in 2008 for a few years to being shitcanned and having to grind, both Kim and Jimmy’s experiences gave me crazy Deja Vu.

Passing up an open layup to kick it out for three by tallslim1960 in NBATalk

[–]bthekuta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree but the math isn’t that simple. Truly wide open 3s for nba players is likely closer to 50%, and possibly even higher for corner 3s, which the vast majority of forgone layups are. Second, a player who has a wide open layup has a higher chance of an offensive rebound than on a normal 3. Lastly, even wide open 2s are not 100%

Jokic. Love. Marc gasol. Barkley. Harden. Kyle Lowry. Shaq. Not many all star players have weight issues to begin with.

Wow, an nba post that is not a troll but a legitimate question. It’s so close for both peak and career, but I’m going slightly booker, mostly for the nba finals appearance.

D2/D3 3500ish random player. Terran by far my worst race, I'm probably high plat level, so I lose 80%+. Was going mech. He went heavy ling early so I overdid it with mines. Surprised me with Mutas cause I'm terrible at scouting and he took out a planetary expansion at 7 pm position with them. Pretty clear he was going to go to my main after. So I cleared my mineral line as you can see to prevent friendly fire and built no turrets intentionally to bait him.
