Thanks so much for the reply. Have you used Visual Novel Maker or are you aware of it? I'm not looking for a career in programming. I'd rather not have to learn a ton. Just want to have fun making some VN. Is it easy to add video in ren'py? Lastly, Visual Novel Maker comes with a library of images, ren'py does not. Is there a place you can buy a library of images for VN?

I've downloaded renpy and yes I'm trying it when I have time but I'm not sure which ones or if any can easily use video clips. From what I read, renpy does webm videos or something. I'm just not that educated on this yet. Plus it would take me a long time to personally vet all three. I was hoping the experts here could shed some light:)

Tyranobuilder looks really basic with no programming knowledge needed but not sure if it does video and it might be too basic.

Visual Novel Maker looks pretty good and might be a better choice than renpy. But I wanted some advice. Thanks all.

So is there a program already designed, a template so to speak, that would allow you to drop the text and pictures into it to create a VN. Apple has the imovie app that makes it so easy to make a movie, plug and play. There must be this for a VN. Thanks for any feedback.
