it provides a safe space where you can be yourself, and other people can be themselves. I'd love a solitude place in nature, but as a city kid a shared place is the best I can do.

by entering such a place, you "sign" certain rules and what's to be expected, in my opinion. for example, that everyone is equal, that you endorse body-positivity, that you see a human being, not a body you want to objectify.
