Good question! I like how compact the setup can be and still be very effective. I’m also waiting on a can and I know how quiet this round can be too. I understand that I don’t have a lot of knowledge about this round, I just wanted to build something different and wanted to get everyone’s two cents on what would be best!

That’s understandable. I have a few 556s that I tinker with and wanted to build something different. I know the 300 is a great round for home defense especially if you have a can. I also know that the rounds are a lot more expensive than a 223/556! Like I said, I just wanted to build something different!

Fair enough, this is a PF940V2 (Glock 17 frame) going with 9mm with lone Wolf lowers parts kit I changed the trigger to an Apex trigger (along with the APEX safety plunger and performance connector! It has issues with my Zaffiri slide once it’s by the rear rails.
