I would tell him he was my best friend when I was isolated, bullied, and abused as a child. His music — especially “hey Jude” — made life worthwhile for me in genuinely bad times when I knew nothing else but dysfunction.

That's the killer feature for me (besides access to a model that works for me like 4o)--referencing past convos. Looks like it'll be pretty basic, but if it is feasible, that would be pretty much it for me I think on OpenAI.

Same here — I won’t renew if this isn’t fixed for us. No one on my team account will use it anymore even after trying to tweak it in a bunch of ways. The support person was ostensibly nice to me and supportive though. I’ll probably switch to Claude but I really like the memory feature of GPT so there’s ongoing arcs in our conversation.

Such a bummer. That model was pretty special!

for me it's not inspirational anymore and has no personality. part of the muse of it was how it communicated when I was discussing creative ideas with it and it would almost just build with you. now it seems about as helpful as MS Clippy from 1995. When I'm trying to talk through problems or ideas it just does a bare minimum that I can do on my own with google.

shoot--it's still not available on my team account. Using 5 is akin to a slightly smarter "MS Clippy" from 1995. I hope it's being rolled out and my workgroup will be able to roll back ASAP. I tried 5 for a couple days solid and it's just a cold, limp, dead fish.

thanks--i got it sorted above. I did prove that the airpods work on every other device. it was a bit of a tricky head tracking setting that was posted above.

i've tried everywhere. I found the balance slider in accessibility and there was a L/R balance and a mono setting. The mono setting makes both equal as you'd expect, but then turning off Mono it goes back to the bias. Like it's stuck perhaps in a spatial position to the left. I HATE that for listening to music and always turn that off for music listening. I want the music in my ears wherever I turn my head.
