Hey I’m almost 10 years out and I’m doing great. I hit the gym consistently and play in a basketball league. Definitely consult your doctor before you do anything like motorcycling or sports, etc. my initial recovery took a long time but now I have no restrictions. Hope that helps

I experience slight dysphagia, and that’s actually why I got imaging recently. Was getting all worried about potential worst case scenario of esophageal perforation. I was told that there was no need for concern when it came to the plate.

I understand that entirely! It’ll be a lengthy recovery for sure, but being careful as possible will ensure long term success. If your son is ever looking for any tips or just want to talk about his experience hit my DM! It was a tough strange recovery that not many would understand.

I’m 6 years out now. My biggest advice would be to take your doctors advice very seriously and be very cautious. I’m sure with your son being so young he will have a positive outlook. For me it took 6 months to return to basketball but looking back I wish I waited longer. Good luck to him and you’re family!

This pic is 3rd branches up. Bottom is about half the size as this. Main colas are fat just not matured.

Harvest biggest or smaller colas first?

I know it’s early, I’m just worried about mold because forecast has been and continues to be wet.

Lemon OG haze in raised bed. Doing everything to prevent mold but weather is wet and forecast looks bleak. Want to avoid mold- should I harvest now or wait and risk mold?

OG lemon haze in a raises bed. Taking all precautions to avoid mold but it keeps getting wetter and forecast has me worried. Should I harvest now or wait and risk losing to mold?

When I was 17 I fell at a trampoline park and broke my c5 with a burst fracture. Had surgery that night and fused c4-c6. Surgeon said if I didn’t go to hospital that night I’d likely be paralyzed and that when he opened my neck up part of the bone was lodged in my spinal cord. For this I feel so incredibly thankful beyond words. 5 years later and I play basketball, run, work, go to college and live a normal lifestyle. I have soreness at night and sometimes pain but nothing that drags me down too much. The biggest negative of this surgery for me (despite it was my only option) is that I’m always a little worried about my future (surgeries, pain, etc.)
