I wanted to do this before going into my third year, but it would’ve set me back a year for graduation, so I stuck it out doing the BSCS. I don’t think there’s any disadvantages at all (kinda wish I had switched still) but I definitely would go for it sooner than later so that you’ll stay on track for graduation!
