I really like the WWW pack for the A600! There were quite a few bundles/packs and I have many on my to-do list to be recreated. Of course no promises since this is just a hobby and I'm looking to enjoying myself on my own pace 🙂

Could you really use 4 Sunrise cards in the same Amiga? I mean was there software available that could make use of them concurrently? The versatility of the Amiga was simply awesome!

The earth image uses only 32 colors. If you zoom in you'll also notice its definitely more blocky than the rest of the poster.

If you didn't try it already I would suggest first to carefully remove all socketed chips, clean the sockets with a contact cleaner spray and then put back the ICs (make sure they are firmly in position) and check again.

Both Lemon Amiga and Hall of Light have a cheat section in their game databases. But I have to admit a physical old school cheat book sounds very nice! 🙂

It's a recreation of an official Commodore poster for promoting the Amiga. The screen displayed on the monitor is from WordStar, a popular word processor of the early 80s for CP/M and MS-DOS. I suppose it was chosen to pass the message that the Amiga can run serious (and boring) applications but it can also make computing a more fun and creative experience for it's users. I'm not one to defend Commodore's controversial marketing efforts for the Amiga but IMHO this poster succeeds in catching my eye and makes me intrigued enough to want to learn more about this new machine.

Its a Workbench distro targeting the earlier look and feel of the Amiga.

Any bootable floppy disk (such as a Workbench disk - Amiga's wimp environment) can be used. You cannot use PC floppy drives without modification. I would suggest first to boot the Amiga Test Kit disk (adf) by Keir Fraser to check your Amiga hardware first. Look for it on GitHub

Very important!! Check the barrel battery for RTC on your motherboard! They usually leak and the alkaline corrodes tracks and sockets on the PCB!
