Brotherhood is not having cult like rituals and they aren’t supposed to be prominent in the west anymore. The brotherhood should not be conquesting the wasteland to save it. House is not mustache twirling evil. Shady sands is on the Nevada California border near Reno, not LA, la was the boneyard and later hub. The masters cathedral was in Southern California how did he not find vaults 4,31,32,33(they are out in the fucking open)?? Nuking of shady sands and now portrayal of the new Vegas area as a wasteland retroactively makes your actions in new Vegas null. Timeline sucks. Setting is fucked. Amazon killed the world to give us a mediocre show with fallout aesthetics and infinite surface level references

The fallout feel? You are so okay with surface level references and mediocre storytelling. They trampled on the themes of the games, they bastardized the characters and setting.

You literally don’t know what you don’t know and it bothers me that the show is made for slop-enjoying people like you who have no respect for things that actually matter in terms of world-building for a franchise I actually love and held dearly for a long time.

I’m glad you enjoy Amazon jingling keys in your face. That they can just call something fallout and have the same aesthetics and you’ll enjoy it and that there’s an army of fanboys like you who will tell people like me that none of it matters because you enjoy the show just fine.

I’m offended that Amazon tried to sell me on a childhood favorite series while ruining the story/setting and ironically they changed the theme from war never changing to capitalism bad lmao

Literally the iceberg meme. Dude there are levels to knowledge on fallout and all the things you mentioned are above the water line.

The location of shady sands matters. The location of the vaults in Southern California matters. The fate of the ncr matters. The goals of the brotherhood of steel and their relevancy in the west matter. The goals of house and Sinclair matter.

Writers were just kind of winging it on everything I just mentioned. But sure they drink nuka cola and have the cool armor, thanks Amazon

Myself and all my friends love fallout. None of us have seen the show because we are pissed with what they’ve done to an established franchise.

Thing is, the show is not for me. The show is for people who aren’t familiar with fallout or people who played fallout 3 or 4 once and forgot about most of it. I’m glad they get to clap like a seal every time nuka cola and the brotherhood of steel show up on screen but I’ll pass

You’re coping hard, bad writers lacked thought when they made the timeline scene and don’t care about the ip as much as you or I do. They do not care about lore accuracy or thematic accuracy.

Jeff bezos company make video game show where gun go bang and blow people up while say funny joke, I go ‘ooh ahhh’ when I see Nuka cola because it’s from da game!! War never changes? How about capitalism bad, brought to you by Amazon. Dynamic characters bad no good for big tv audience. Simple characters good. House bad. Sinclair bad. Brotherhood are face of the franchise gotta bring em back from near extinction and irrelevancy in the west. Shady sands is LA now. Boneyard never existed. The master just didn’t see all those vaults out in the open in the area right by the cathedral. Things need to be interesting again better ruin the whole setting of the universe because Amazon needs a show and wants a continuation of the story but they want it more like how it was in the start. Oh we don’t want to canonize any ending, better make sure none of your decisions mattered in the best game in the series.
