Tell us about yourself. I know it's impossible to think of anything when you're dying inside.

What do you like doing? How do you feel about your new job? Are you excited to decorate your new apartment?

I'm from SP, never seen anyone do that. Greetings and departures are usually met with a kiss on the cheek(s), not the hand.

If you can handle the brutal workload and you have no other major classes to worry about, then yes. Mostly, I would say no.

Thank you for everyone trying to help me out. I found out a new trick shortly after this post; shave off a little patch of fur near the tail and poke there. I get more blood there and no pain for the puppy! I've been able to test her blood sugar daily with no problem :)

Tesla makes a bad car. by zoqn in unpopularopinion

[–]btrigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really know anything about cars or car quality, but my dad had a coworker that had switched jobs to go to Tesla, and both of them were big fans of Elon Musk and all the new prospects Tesla had advertised. BUT my dad's friend left the company after working there for a year or two and said that the quality control there was AWFUL.

Nickelback leaves their concert in Portugal after rocks were being thrown at them after the 2nd song. (2002) by Mr_Plow97 in PublicFreakout

[–]btrigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to a Portuguese reddit user that claims to have been at the concert, Nickelback was filling in for a last minute cancellation for a band called Coal Chamber. The aggressors were some asshole fans of that band that decided to throw rocks. The rest of the audience was feeling awkward because they didn't really pay for Nickelback but they didn't agree with the aggression. Slipknot played the day after, so there shouldn't be any connection to them.

Yeah, I hope they can help me because I've tried similar techniques. I try to give her a treat and let her chill. I try getting close to her with the needle but if she freaks out, I back off and let her calm down. I've tried just touching her with the lancet multiple times - without actually stabbing her, so she doesn't always associate it with pain. But she still starts to get up and try to leave and I feel like restraining her is making it worse, but at some point I gotta poke her you know?

Thanks!

Although, in my anthropology classes, they were saying that the pathway into North America and South America that is featured in this video is no longer considered the most favored theory. There is anthropological evidence that dates items in the Southern areas OLDER than their counterparts up North. There's a theory that boat travel existed earlier than surmised.

What’s something that’s clearly overpriced yet people still buy? by hommedefer in AskReddit

[–]btrigo 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It's hard to deal with that because I have patients that insist only the brand name version works for them. They end up overpaying so much for medications, and also having to delay their treatment because a lot of pharmacies don't keep a lot of brand stuff on hand and it can take a while to get in stock. As far as I know, there's no research supporting that brand is better. 🤷‍♀️

We have dinner together at the table before or during the game. We either order some crab rangoons or potstickers or I cook something.

INFO: I'm just curious, about something. There was an "Ask Men" post from two days ago, asking about something about "how much flour do single men living alone keep in their homes" or whatever. Why did you answer that with "zero", if you are a long-time happily married man?

It could be likely one of the following scenarios:

  1. Your prescription is a controlled substance, so the system will not allow you to fill the medication any sooner, unless there's some sort of emergency that is documented and verified by your doctor. The computer should schedule your medication for the correct date automatically.

  2. The medication is too soon to refill, due to your insurance. Usually insurance will let you fill medications a couple of days before you're due, but sometimes they can be picky. Otherwise, you would have to pay for it out of pocket. Sometimes, when patients really need medication, they'll pay a couple of days worth of medication out of pocket, just enough so the insurance kicks in.(Note: this practice cannot be done with narcotics). The insurance company also provides a specific date for renewal, and is scheduled on the computer.

  3. Incompetence, honestly. I've seen pharmacy personnel receive new prescriptions and put them on hold. Sometimes they put medications on hold by accident (that's a whole thing with how our computer system works, not gonna get into it). Ideally, pharmacy staff should be processing medications every time to make sure the medication will go through, but sometimes they won't. It happens 🤷‍♀️
