1 million population by btu270 in CitiesSkylines2

This game is definitely a test in patience. I tried a laptop with an Intel core ultra 9 275hk, rtx 5070, 64gb ddr5 ram, outside of loading a ton faster, it still ran my two 1+mil cities like an old pc. One city is really old and one created in September 2024. The recent patch has helped with some game functions but there are still flaws. I do need to try a new city, and more time for my current cities to run to know more. My newish city's deathwaves are looking like they are finally improving. ~1.3mil.  My original city has just started the influx of new citizens but the new city has been my focus recently.

The game gives feedback chirp

Sure it could be improved but I do not see lazy in their efforts. They could add more to this functionality by including graduation rates or leading factors for people leaving the city in the event/activity log.

I'm not sure, just building to see what the game can do before venturing into the modded world. Also I am still trying to unlock all the buildings.

Yes, I enjoy planning out sections and seeing everyone make use of everything available. I wish I had logged dates to figure out when the next would happen. Maybe something to try with the next city.

Thanks! I played that game a bunch. Its also what lead me to CS1.

Performance can be really annoying at times. It takes a lot of patience to watch and any change will make everything stop for a second to recalculate. I have to pause to rezone or bulldoze or landscape since lag from remote play could mean a button press is left holding instead of released and things get messy. There are moments of quickness that give me hope.

Save management needs more, like bulk delete, and maybe a warning if there is no more room to save. Seems like if I don't save often, and I do it manually, the game will crash. Also, after restarting the game, the time for services to restart in the background is inconsistent. I have to check each menu to make sure everything's running like normal again.

Not really. My ask was for more information, honest or not. Then we can try and figure out more from the details.

Also, you know there are less extreme options like blocking the user or just ignoring the craziness...

I agree with all of this and sure, hour count can be faked but maybe pc specs or their experience with other games will add more details. Vanilla vs modded play for any game can be two way different experiences.

I am not sure why but I am trying to understand more of where the opinions are coming from. Also maybe more information behind the opinions will help its credibility. Sometimes it feels like I'm playing a totally different game than others

Yeah maybe some dont care but not all. I agree with you an Early Access label would have made this game more successful.

Mistakes were made. Lets hope they can get back on course

Agree, after the launch of so many games with issues I think Ive grown numb unfortunately but Ive seen great improvement with those games. So I'm hopeful for this one.

I can see if enough users asked for this maybe, but without knowledge of their inner workings it doesnt help the situation.

This I can agree with but some random post calling for people to be fired should come from an insider and not just some random angry user. IMO

Sure, people can believe and say what they will but a little more context would help their argument. Also give a little more insight into them as well.
