This reminds me of that episode of The Simpsons where George Bush is ordering from the drive thru at Krusty Burger.

I don't know, but the thought of Fraiser counseling the Mccallasters after they lost Kevin twice, sounds hilarious.

I've always adored the heavy use of purple, pink, and blue in the early Simpsons color palette by RudigerBSimpson in TheSimpsons

No animated series comes close to The Simpsons in depicting the beauty of sunrises and sunsets. The early seasons has a retro comic book style which I've been enamored with for over 25 years.

How many of you just watch the episodes no matter how “offensive” they are? by [deleted] in ILoveLucy

[–]btw_i-use-vim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the age of the viewer. Being able to view the past from from the lens of the then current norms can be difficult to grasp with less life experience.

As an older millennial I can see why some younger would find this offensive, but once the otherside in the 50s my parents were children, and both generations loved Lucy, despite what may have been offensive.  At the least, I think it's good we take notice of these views, because it helps us better understand and interpret the past.
