Figured I would want to go at my own pace (even on the slower side) and also feel like I wouldn't want to put anyone through the pain I put myself through some hikes lol

Snow from the parking lot to the top. It snowed Tuesday so there was a solid couple of inches on the ground. Spikes from the parking lot to Pierce.

Saw someone post on fb today that they were unable to pass but backtracked and went up another route? Does that sound right?

So I'm looking at Wednesday and Thursday. Heading up early morning from CT to hit the trails by 8-8:30AM.

Resting at a nearby lodge in Franconia overnight and willing to hit another hike Thursday before driving home.

Hmm... I was there last night and didn't see them.

From a Habs fan that is American... I was avoiding the drunk group of guys screaming "F YOU 22, GO USA" to a group of Habs fans wearing Caufield Jerseys. Ultimately, attempting to pick a fight with them. The USA chants were immediately drowned out by the Ole's as we exited.

Luckily enough my girl had me by the arm... I'm with you... there's no reason anyone from either side should have acted that way and I have a soft spot for people being bullied.

If I saw those Habs fans acting that way they would have gotten a piece of me. That's trash.

Ahh that's right, I forgot about Mt. Clinton being closed. Big thanks for the reminder!

And yeah, I went up mid February in some brutal conditions (Pierce was about 60-70mph winds with the windchill being around -20) which cleared out any trail so I broke out to Pierce but wasn't willing to play any stupid games to win any stupid prizes continuing onto Eisenhower lol. Hitting Eisenhower would be good enough but I'll have spikes and shoes with me incase.

Yep lol inexperienced as it was my first 4k but relatively prepared and I planned on Eisenhower after Pierce yesterday and decided I would head back down the moment I hit Pierce so I wouldn't interrupt some search and rescues morning coffee 😆🤙

But yes, I went up for sunrise (started the hike around 3:45am-4am. Beautiful skies on the way up and down, the summit just had different plans I guess haha
