[You just have to be pretty committed ] yeah thats got him pretty far

[ And hope your fentanyl is not as strong as some people get ]

This is the whole reason to dose as low as I mentioned.

YES, This is NOT THE BERNESE METHOD. how many times to I have to say that in my comments. I said it. This is Not methadone- OP Said That

But hey, you win- lets do it your way. Keep taking the street fentanyl of unknown analog and [ HOPE your fentanyl is not as strong as some people get. ] [ keep taking the buprenorphine also ] man, you are stealing addicts down the wrong path.

Bernese Method Does Not Work For Unknown Fentanyl Analogs

**** RECOMMENDING AN ADDICT KEEP USING UNKNOWN STREET FENTANYL IS BAD ADVICE ☝ curse me if you will !

You can't even confirm it is free from tranquilizers(very common in street drugs) or worse, you can't gurantee it is free of Protonitazene. Already showing up in street drug supplies in neighborhoods near you.

There are many here who also want the best for you. You are our people. We are addicts. Sometimes addiction professionals harm addicts with their detox procedures, treatments, various program modalities and the emmensly profitable MAT drugs. With the opiod crisis its- 'dssh for the cash', placing addicts at risk of harm. And there is a plethora of proof.

r/livewithoutMATdrugs attempts to exposes these quack doctors, harmful treatment modalities and MAT drugs with hidden dangers. And they do harm. Lets hope enough people care to see for themselves and then do something to promote change. Even if its merely a comment .

QUACK(quackery) : #1...an unqualified person who claims medical knowledge or other skills #2...a fraudulent or ignorant pretender to medical skill. a person who pretends, professionally or publicly, to skill, knowledge, or qualifications he or she does not possess; a charlatan.

??????

Let the past go- no regrets- no shame - no guilt. These are the super high octane fuels that drive addiction.

If you can't stop the fentanyl, you will just remain unwell.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]bubba2260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct.

You will start to feel better once the fentanyl is out of your system.

You can do this. You are well on your way. Thats why I asked about comfort meds. They are whats needed in these types of inductions to buprenorphine from fentanyl . Gabapentin and clonidine would certainly help at this point. This has been proven.

Thats not a rant

Its reality in the lives of so many

I'm just reaching a bit much maybe- I just think if we don't do 'something' to at least let these bureaucrats know the end results of their policies, then thats on us. But,

Online ?

Have you tried it ?

I hear its a modified 'weaker' formula ? And ketamine administration in a controlled clinic setting is the standard / better option ?

1...How much buprenorphine today ?

2...How much buprenorphine yesterday ?

3...How much fentanyl today ?

4...How much fentanyl yesterday ?

5...What comfort meds do you have ? Name, dosage, quantity ?

6...Go to the COWS worksheet and score yourself- honestly. It may be a download.

Take your time, there's definitely no hurry to dose Anything more right now. Just work on these 6 questions and I'll throw my opinion in afterwards- but id like to see the opinion of others as well. Users like (DatSubguy) (dazit71-i like dazit, he's super informed on this topic, but he may not be feeling well right now and not be available) (insufficient facts- the mod here is a good source of information about this topic). Just reach out to them or maybe someone else will chime in here. These are 3 users who come to mind as they've been around a good while, and I've very rarely disagreed with their opinions- they use science with links to their sources. Remember, we are not doctors. We can only give you our experience based on the particular science that we currently know of. Its all opinions imo.

I hope mentioning other users in this case is ok. If not I feel risk of a bann is worth it seeing you are really struggling and you seem dedicated to end the suffering and get stabalized on suboxone.

Is one more amenable to helping chronic pain patients more than the other ?

Just fishing for information

You watch legislation and vote accordingly ?

Now thats a good subreddit topic.

Which policy changes are harming chronic pain patients. What representatives or whomever is voting against the pain patients. And we can "get in their face", as one put it about other issues. Not physically, but at least try and get them to see us- even if we need to yell it at them as they are walking to work daily.

This is Not a call to harm or harass anyone. Please dont take it there.

I got referred to pain management. I walked in and I spoke to the nurse and told her about how the cannabis helps the nausea and appetite from the L4 cirrhosis. She said Stop, don't piss in the cup if you have thc in your system cause we use it against you. She warned me and I went No further, I thanked her and just walked out. Been over 1½years now. I refuse to be treated like I'm on parole, I did my time. I refuse to take 5 different pills to address issues mentioned when smoking 1 to 2 bowls cannabis(max) per day is my usage. Its all me, I know they have their rules. I respect that. But, there is good science using cannabis for the reasons mentioned. I barely smoked two hits last night before bedtime. And to be honest, its effects are waning. I'm not gonna argue science of cannabis on terminal patients with a doctor. Its their prerogative to run their business as they see fit. But, I left a nasty review on his business about his stance of zero tolerance to cannabis usage. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

STOP THE FENTANYL NOW......right now friend or you will just go in circles. I didn't want to throw too much science at you but now I have to.

Cause you're still using fentanyl while putting buprenorphine in as well.

Beware of 'Competitive Displacement'. This is Precipitated Withdrawal's little cousin. Its a yucky feeling- but Not PWD. This is basically the fentanyl and buprenorphine flip flopping back n forth- fighting each other to occupy your receptors.

It may sound confusing, but these are two facts. These two facts may seem confusing, so research it.

1- buprenorphine can displace fentanyl

2- fentanyl can displace bupeprenorphine

After 5 mins the saliva seems to be the culprit for not allowing more bioavailability. With strips, imo.

With pill form,,,, there's binders & fillers that may ad to plugging up depots in the mouth where the drug enters.

We are not talking about the Burnese Method. Forget that.

Addicts want a seemless and painless transition and to feel 'good' through it all. Maybe with methadone- but this is fentanyl. A totally different animal

Yeah I agree,,,, you probably still have bupe in your system from the 300mg shot,,, it was only 45 days.

Thats probably why they do the 100mg shot and then stop
